Dear Esteemed Delegates and Faculty Advisors,

It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the first ever iteration of the Raven Model United Nations Conference at Canyon Crest Academy! My name is Jocelyn Wang and I am honored to be the Secretary General of RavenMUN I. On behalf of the entire Secretariat, I am so proud of the work we have done to create an exciting and memorable day of debate. 

Our own Model UN team has been competing at conferences in and around the Greater San Diego area for ten years now, and we are passionate about cultivating the same spirit of passionate debate and meaningful connections that we have experienced. 

Through our three committees, our team hopes to investigate and pass resolutions with solutions to some of the world’s most pressing issues, whether they are historical or in the modern day. From mercenary attacks to stolen art to saving the lives of infants, I hope all delegates will enjoy the range of topics we have curated. 

I am certain that with an amazing community of delegates as well as a hard working team of organizers, RavenMUN I will be a successful conference and memorable experience for everyone involved, inspiring future diplomats and fostering valuable collaboration.
